Ursula began her career as a designer and creator of carved wooden furniture after graduating from Manchester Polytechnic with a BA (Hons) in 3D Design in 1990. Her work has been exhibited around the country including at Earls Court, London; the Business Design Centre, Isslington; and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. In 1994 Ursula qualified as a primary school teacher and spent eight happy years teaching at St Anne's RC Primary School in Blackburn, during which time she was inspired to experiment with mural painting and Illustrating.
