Specialist advice to Creative Industries

The Creative Industries in the UK are recognised as being the fastest growing sector and major contributor to the national economy. Part of our mission is to enable the local Cultural Industries sector to grow and prosper. Through the East Lancashire Creative Industries Development (ELCID) agency, the Trust offers a unique programme of business advisery and support services targeted to meet the specific needs of new and existing creative industries. We also promote local talent through a Creative Directory of creative businesses illustrating their work to potential purchasers.

Business Club

Hyndburn Business Club is a joint initiative between Hyndburn Enterprise Trust and Hyndburn Borough Council. The Club offers networking opportunities, brainstorming sessions, business updates, seminars on related topics and access to market intelligence. Membership is free.

Support for women

Hyndburn Enterprise Trust endeavours to boost opportunities for women. The Trust is a registered Women's Centre and is actively involved with Hyndburn Women's Forum. Our team includes a high percentage of women and, if you prefer, you can choose to meet with a female Business Adviser.

Our services don't stop once you're up and running. We provide assistance to businesses that have been trading for some time through a programme of consultancy projects, which could involve anything from setting up a website to preparing your company for quality accreditation.
